Pro Football Focus is a well respected brand that grades every single play from every single game. Here is how they grade out the BYU roster.

1. Jaren Hall (QB) - 89.6

The play of Jaren Hall has been a major reason the Cougs are in contention for a New Years Six Bowl. Despite losing Zach Wilson, BYU has found a way to go 5-1 against P5 programs this season. Hall has been a threat on the ground with 247 rushing yards to go with 12 touchdown passes and just 3 interceptions.

2. Tyler Allgeier (RB) - 85.1

While Jaren Hall has been outstanding, Allgeier is the team's MVP. The star running back already has 1,236 yards and 16 touchdowns. His best performance came last weekend against Virginia when he rushed for 266 yards.

3. Puka Nacua (WR) - 84.3

Puka Nacua was a huge offseason get for BYU when he transferred from Washington. The physical receiver has been a consistent big play threat with 649 yards and 19.7 yards per catch.

4. Clark Barrington (OL) - 82.3

Barrington is a 6-6 Sophomore from Spokane. He's been a key cog in an offense that's racked up 440.6 yards per game.

5. Baylor Romney (QB) - 80.3

Romney is one of the top backup quarterbacks in the country and has a bright future ahead of him. In limited action, Romney has a 209.1 QB Rating, 5 touchdown passes and 0 interceptions.

6. Neil Pau'u (WR) - 77.3

Neil Pau'u has formed a 2 headed monster with Puka Nacua. The 6-4 receiver has elite size and has managed 504 yards on the season after posting 602 last season.
