2022 Season - Picks Against the Spread: 16-16
#15 Washington at UCLA
Betting Line: UW -2.5
Two unbeaten Pac-12 teams will go at in Pasadena under the Friday night lights. UCLA has largely been untested this season after three games against G5 opponents and then an easy win over Colorado but Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Zach Charbonnet have proven they can lead a high powered offense and should test the Husky defense in ways they haven't been tested yet. Kalen DeBoer was able to defeat the Bruins last year while leading Fresno State and we see him doing it again in another high scoring affair.
Prediction: Washington 37 vs UCLA 30
Oregon State at #12 Utah
Betting Line: Utah -12
The spread here feels substantial given how the Beavers played against USC last week and the fact that Oregon State beat Utah in 2021. This one should be a battle between two teams who know how to run the ball but the talent and home field advantage for Utah gives them the win.
Prediction: Utah 33 vs Oregon State 24
Cal at WSU
Betting Line: WSU -4
It's tough to predict how the Cougs will respond after a 4th quarter let down cost them the game against the Ducks last Saturday. WSU looks like they can play with anyone in the Pac-12 and assuming they don't let last week beat them again, the Cougs pull out a close game against a resurgent Cal squad in the final minute.
Prediction: WSU 23 vs Cal 20
Colorado at Arizona
Betting Line: Arizona -19
Colorado is one of the worst Pac-12 teams in recent memory and an 0-12 season almost feels unavoidable with how they have played so far. This week will be one of their best chances to get a win but the Wildcats roll easily over the Buffs.
Prediction: Arizona 48 vs Colorado 20
Arizona State at #6 USC
Betting Line: USC -24
ASU showed no life last week after the firing of Herm Edwards and we will likely see more of the same in Los Angeles this weekend. The Trojans rack up points and further bolster Caleb Williams' Heisman pursuit.
Prediction: USC 42 vs ASU 21
Stanford at #13 Oregon
Betting Line: Oregon -15
Stanford has given the Ducks fits over the years while winning four of the past six against Oregon. The Cardinal haven't looked great against USC and Washington to start the season but their offensive scheme has shown improvement from last year and they always have the talent to make things difficult. If Stanford can cut down on turnovers, they should be able to stay in this game.
Prediction: Oregon 38 vs Stanford 25
